ABOUT ME

I'm a writer, photographer, videographer, colorist, editor, director, and producer who isn't too bad at illustrating and dangerous enough with animation.

My aspirations in life are to be surrounded by nature and to tell stories. Luckily, telling stories is what I've been doing for quite some time now while going to school at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, where I earned Bachelors degrees in Creative Writing and Video Production, and am currently finishing up my Masters in Digital Storytelling. Immersion programs like Ball State Sports Link and Building Better Communities have prepared me for practically anything in the storytelling realm.

I aspire to write stories for visual media. Comics. Movies. Games. TV. Or maybe even an internet-based, transmedia combination of those that perhaps isn't too unlike what I'm starting to barely touch on with The WAVES Project.

My genres of choice are sci-fi and horror and fantasy, although nothing is worth anything if there isn't comedy tossed in, too.

I am infinitely fascinated with our beautiful, blue planet; the creatures and things therein; and the exploding universe way out there. I love animals and have too many cats.

I grew up in the middle of a sea of corn called Indiana. I wanted to be an astronaut, but somehow ended up writing stories and making videos instead. I'm not too upset about it. I have Bachelors degrees in Creative Writing and Video Production, and am in pursuit of my Masters in Digital Storytelling at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. I currently live and breathe in Indianapolis, Indiana, with my lovely girlfriend.
