“I'm gonna miss this class.” Spring ‘19, Advanced Video

“Brad Dailey is the Video God incarnate.” - Spring ‘19, Advanced Video

“Brad is easily my favorite professor I've ever had. He is really passionate about this industry and that comes through in his lectures and general conversation about the things we learn about, but goes about everything in a way that respects the fact that a lot of us are brand new to all of this stuff. He has a nice balance of not acting like we're complete idiots, but definitely have things we don't know. It's refreshing to have a professor want you to grow and get your ideas in motion without treating you like you're a new kid on the block who doesn't know anything, and won't get anywhere for a long time. He takes a long time to provide feedback but it doesn't really matter because what he says is SUPER beneficial, and in-depth. It is ridiculously clear he spends a lot of time really reading our work, and giving good thought into what he wants to critique, and offering suggestions about which way things could go instead of just saying "this doesn't work" without explanation.” - Spring ‘19, Advanced Video

“In Gateway (which I did not have with Brad) I was really nervous about this department because I was overwhelmed with all the general and broad knowledge I was being thrown without enough time to process what I was learning. I knew I wanted to do Video Production, but was so nervous using the NX5s and all the audio equipment by myself that I didn't know what to expect. Brad was a really solid Adv. Video Prof because he eased us into everything new, and is totally available any time to ask questions. He even provided his cell phone number just in case he wasn't around his email, and we had a question in a pinch. Plus, his side commentary on his stuff is really funny, so 10/10 would recommend Brad.” - Spring ‘19, Advanced Video

“Great mind. Takes time to give students very honest feedback, but I've never had a professor go so in-depth with my work, and it's been very rewarding. It makes me want to put out my best work.” - Spring ‘19, Advanced Video
